The Center for Drug Research (CDR) brings together biological, computational, and materials sciences to develop innovative tools for pharmaceutical applications. Our research is focused on two main programs: Biobased drug discovery tools, and Drug delivery and pharmaceutical nanotechnology. The CDR also provides top-level education and training as part of the University of Helsinki, one of the best multidisciplinary research universities in the world.
With a commitment to innovation and collaborative research, the CDR strives to develop pharmaceutical tools to reduce the cost of developing new medicines.
